where to buy component sets?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

i bought a build kit from colorado cyclist 7 months back and was pleased overall with the experience. I believe there are probably better prices out there though and I think they have raised there prices in the last 2-3 months.

Total Cycling had some kick ***** deals back around the end of last year, I remember Ultegra for around $550, DA7800 for $100 more.
I checked out the prices on TC today and Ultegra is going to set you back about $757 plus shipping.
PBK is no bargin.
Competitive is about the same as TC.

Have you checked your LBS in case they are able to come close?

What about ShinyBikes.com? Their groupset prices look unreal, especially on Campy.

I hate to do this, I really do, but I have a full brand new take-off 105 group if you're interested.

I stand corrected, I didn't see it on PBK when I checked yesterday. But there is a full ultegra group set for $594 with free shipping to US. I dont think you're going to do much better.
The catch is they are out of stock.
