Would you wear this helmet?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Would you wear this helmet?

So when you get hit, the thin metal drives into your head? No thanks.

Looks like if you actually used it for its intended purpose, it would slice your head in to neat little sections, kind of like an onion. Did Ron Popeil invent it?

Well, I was assuming that there would be more to it to make it safe and work properly. You wouldn't wear any of the helmets you do now if it was only the outside, as this appears to be.

a concept design, which will never see production, but worth its weight in publicity gold.

this thread being proof positive of that.

Jeesh Botto, didn't your mother read to you when you were a kid? Most people can take that little step that "would" requires.

Just think of the cool tan lines.

If two people were wearing those and they hit head-on, what would happen?
