Help: need to identify an older 10 speed!

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Help: need to identify an older 10 speed!

I bought this 10 speed off a guy who told me it was a Raleigh, which it said on the stem but no where else on the bike. I stupidly repainted over the frame, but the lettering on the top frame read something to the likes of Wymrann or maybe Mryanno. It either started with an M or W, had a y in it and more than one n's or m's (sorry i know this is vague). The rear derailer was a Suntour Honor, which I looked up and am pretty sure its of the 4th generations from around 1976. A lot of the metal pieces on the bike say ZZR on them. The badge was quite worn out and i couldnt really make out the lettering. it was almost oval in shape, with what looked like sun rays in the background and maybe a lion with wings on it? (sorry i know, vague!). lets see what else...the bike is blue in color, and also has the olympic rings on the main post of the frame. also, there is housing down the drop tube of the bike for a shifter lever on the right side.

if anyone has any idea what this could be, or could point me in the direction of where i could information i would greatly appreciate it!

ZZR is a brand of cycle that was manufactured in Poland. Typically all of the fittings on the machine will be stamped ZZR. It is possible that the bicycle is a ZZR which has had some of its parts replaced.

there is some history and background information on ZZR and the associated brand of Romet in english at disraeligears:
