Happens at 2:11 for the lazy...

Flatballer 05-01-09 06:02 PM

he never opened it with the stem. He tried, but the stem doesn't have a sharp enough edge on it to do that. He just uses his teeth.

That was an awesome video though. That looked like champagne they were passing around at one point.

mushwars 05-01-09 06:04 PM

Lol, that's funny. That must be heavy lugging around 5 glass bottles. I like that they share, shows that competition doesn't involve hate of other riders.

YOJiMBO20 05-01-09 06:07 PM

I'd be afraid of that accidentally turning the handlebar resulting in a dead me.

Hell, I have a hard enough time taking arm warmers off while moving because I end up shifting my weight around a bit.

Why would anyone want to skip to it.

On the way, there are so many things to note, like wtf do we need power bars for?

exRunner 05-01-09 08:08 PM

martinus 05-02-09 12:48 PM

Definitely no small feat, but it is worth it to remember that those rigs were steel and had a much more slack geometry making them track very well with little to no rider input. I am always amazed at how smooth older steelies ride when I jump back on them. Ride no-handed for days.

I couldn't imagine the damage all of that glass, they are carrying, would cause in the event of a crash!!! YIKES.

iwegian 05-02-09 10:04 PM

if i don't see this happen on ragbrai, i will be disappointed.
