Hi,
I was wondering what road bikes are out there with aluminum forks; I heard carbon isn't all it's cracked up to be, no pun intended.

Lots of steel forks still being made. I think the old Kinesis aluminum forks were supposed to ride O.K. Vitus, too, but they are all threaded steer tubes.

If you prefer not to have a carbon fork, steel is your other option.

Avoid aluminum forks. Most are glued at the crown...remember the old SR Sakae alloy forks everyone was using in the early to mid 1990's?? Until they came unglued while going 50mph downhill. Carbon forks are pretty reliable, from what I have seen it's the carbon frames that tend to break, not the forks.
