don't mind me; i'm just jealous of your mad skills

StephenH 05-03-09 04:13 PM

I think I'd hurt myself if I tried that.

I remember the commedian asking, "Does Superman HAVE to fly in that position? Why can't he just sit like he's reading a paper as he flies through the air?"

Sawtooth 05-03-09 04:35 PM

since turning a road bike has more to do with weight distrobution that direction of the bars, is is possible to turn on decents in this position.

^oZ 05-03-09 04:38 PM

You still have your cleat covers on, that's cheating

Myfirsttrek 05-03-09 04:56 PM

Um, can you do this if you have man parts? Wouldn't you be rolling over EVERYTHING to get into that position... I would rather not try.

sac02 05-03-09 06:01 PM

He appears to be going a smidge faster than you...

Mac

All parts are complete and in good working order.

dolophonic 05-03-09 06:27 PM

No.. this is a fail..

Aimulator64 05-03-09 06:45 PM

oh **** that was one hell of a bump you just hit :) your legs flew clear behind you.

Nachoman 05-03-09 06:51 PM

I'm not really into that. The only tricky things I do are ride no handed and take off my jacket on the fly.
edit: And that's not very tricky.

UnsafeAlpine 05-03-09 06:54 PM

It's easy. Move your junk out of the way, put the seat into your hip, and go. I do this a lot, but no one is ever around with a camera. :(

Actually I can't do that.

This was meant as a joke. There is no way I could do that starting from sitting on the saddle. Rather:

1-Find a inclined surface (my driveway).
2-Stand behind the saddle, straddling the rear wheel, holding the handlebar.
3-Bend over the bike, with your upper abdomen on the saddle.
4-Roll forward and gain some momentum.
5-Lift up your legs.
6-Have somebody take a picture.

Do it at your own risk.
