Conan O'Brien is a roadie

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I was going to mention the SHO video too. I used to own a 94 SHO and those cars were nothing to laugh at if you kept them properly maintained.

Stop the Conan bashing!!!! He is extremely funny. I went to a live taping of Late Night with Conan and it was hilarious. He not only had the whole audience busting up, but all of the crew too during the show and between takes. Anyone who doesn't understand his humor is a failure at life.

The Golden Age of the Simpsons was the time Conan was running it.

Size is one thing, but that pedal stroke could use some help. Look at his right foot position at the bottom of the pedal stroke.

Conan was a better comedy writer than performer. That's my opinion. That means nothing. He's done alright for himself.

Serottas are not blah. Around here in the NY area there are too many of them, but that's because they are sublime bikes and there are strong Serotta retailers here that do a great job selling them. Like Cervelos, only more money.

I'd prefer to watch Craig Ferguson, much funnier. But I rarely stay up late enough to watch him.

From this point of view, I would think so.

As for how much his bike cost, how much does he make in a year? How much does he have in the bank? Why should it be a concern how much his bike cost? Do you have a better way for him to spend it? Maybe he should have invested that money in the stock market instead, right?
Wait 'til Lazy gets here, and spews his doctrine on how wasteful of a purchase this act was based on Conan's apparent lack of ability and perceived bike usage, irregardless of his immense wealth and desire for something nice.

the rear wheel looks bigger because the chrome is less visible than the front, making the tires look larger, and making the wheel look larger because the eye wants to perceive constancy.
the white line on the pavement may also be doin soemthin there...

I would also think it's because the median salary in NYC ranks up there in the upper brackets compared to the rest of the country, and heck, not only are they local, but Serotta does make a decent ride.

Conan is funny, but that bike IS ugly.

This is the truth.

kinda looks like this but 2x as ugly/large..( a few years ago, litespeed released some really ugly looking 45 cm tall (or something) headtube roadbike) barf.

regardless as long as the guy is riding.. great.. maybe after a few years he will be able to ride a bike with less headtube/spacer ACTION.
