Sell complete or part out
I'm think of selling my Lynskey Ti R220 (small frame)to fund other hobbies. Its a great bike, but If i can keep just one nice road bike the Roubaix won.
The Lynskey has nicet components and is in near new condition. Sram Red except Force FD and DA cassette. Thomson seat post and stem Carbon K-force bars Mavic Kysrium SL SSC wheels with Pro Race 3s I was trying to decide if I should part it out on EBAY, or sell it complete. I have done ok selling components on ebay, but don't want to get stuck with a stripped frame :) |
I would think that unless the parts are highly sought after (unique, collectible, brand new ...), it would not be worth the trouble to part it out. That's a lot of effort. Sell the bike as-is and be done with it.

Shoot. I saw this thread too late. I had just ordered a Lynskey. Oh well...

usually part it out gets you more money back depending on how old and used the parts are. That is if fairly new. If older then sell it complete. Like the earlier person said complete will get it gone faster.

Depends.... I've been trying to sell my LOOK locally, with no success. I may have to look into packaging options, or, eventually, part it out. Try selling it as is first... if no luck, then parting out may be the option.

You would definitely do better parting it out.. I would list for one time with a good start price and slightly above start, a Buy it now.. If it does not sell, then part it out..
