Duly Impressed with QWIKFIL CO2 cartridge

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Duly Impressed with QWIKFIL CO2 cartridge

Today was the first time I’ve used a CO2 cartridge device for inflating my tire after a flat out on the road. I will still carry my Morph Road Pump but it will be more as a backup or for occasions when I experience more than one flat during a ride. The 16 gram QWIKFIL inflated my 700 x 23 tire to 110 psi within seconds. Now I can’t udnerstand why it took me so long to try it.....

Are there any others out there not carrying CO2 cartridges? What are your experiences with CO2 cartridges?

PS For the environmentally sensitive folks out there I want you to know that I brought the spent CO2 canister and punctured tube home to discard the canister and patch the tube

I have changed to CO2 this year. 1 flat and it worked wonderful. Still carry a Torelli aria mini pump in saddle bag.
