Question about frame size (Brand X frame)

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Question about frame size (Brand X frame)

Hi guys,

I ride an old raleigh grand prix (1984) but recently the seat stays started breaking at the braze joint. So I am looking for a new frame, and came across this:

https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=24249

Which looks like a great deal for what it is. My only concern is that the sizing seems to be out of whack. The top tube length seems REALLY short for the size bikes they are. Its is of particular concern for me, because while I am 6'1", my torso is particularly long (are my legs are short). On my old Raleigh, the seat is almost all the way down to the frame, and yet the bike still feels a hair short.

What do you guys think about the dimensions on this frame???

Thanks!

At 6'1, you want the 60 or 62, right? That top tube is ridiculous for a normal person, let alone someone with a long torso. Keep looking.
