Road trip
So because this is across multiple regions I figured this would be the best spot to post this.
I'm going to be doing a road trip for the month of august
(route here https://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=Pasadena,+CA&daddr=Durango,+CO+to:2301+Old+Faithful,+Yellowstone+National+ Park,+WY+82190+(Yellowstone+Park+Service+Stations)+to:West+Glacier,+MT+(Glacier+National+Park)+to:HW Y+3%2FHWY+3B+to:Vancouver,+BC,+Canada+to:W+Robert+Bush+Dr%2FUS-101+to:NW+Pacific+Coast+Hwy%2FUS-101+to:OR-101%2FOregon+Coast+Hwy%2FUS-101+to:41.294317,-122.431641+to
asadena,+CA&hl=en&geocode=%3B%3B%3BFff54wIdbsg0-SFA-XiBivABEA%3BFb4E7wIdYnP_-A%3B%3BFdYOyAIdws6e-A%3BFQjBpwIdAMya-A%3BFZ7gjQIdUrKU-A%3B%3B&mra=dpe&mrcr=4&mrsp=9&sz=6&via=4,6,7,8,9&sll=42.569264,-119.421387&sspn=7.78158,19.775391&ie=UTF8&ll=42.55308,-112.324219&spn=15.559173,39.550781&z=5)
Basically, los angeles to durango co to yellowstone to glacier national park to vancouver back to los angeles.
I'm looking for any must do rides along the route. Road is the first priority, but any mountain bike rides would be welcomed as well.
Thanks

I haven't ridden those roads, but I have driven extensively in the Eastern areas of your trip. My first thought was unless you are really interested in SLC and Pocatello, why would you go that way. There are many miles of sagebrush and busier roads that way. I would stay closer to Colorado after leaving Moab, probably check out routes that wander back and forth between Utah and Colo. You could ride up alongside Flaming Gorge Res too. I would also stay close to the Wyo and Idaho lines. Using parts of the route of LOTOJA would probably be good from Logan to Jackson, up through Teton and then Yellowstone. That's gonna be one hot trip in August, plan accordingly.

I'll assume "Going to the sun" is a given? I went up in a car several years ago and had to stop and get out twice from fear/vertigo. Sounds like a great trip.
edit- just saw the Logan reference.

That's an awesome route! I've been through the upper region that you will be cycling in. Definitely take it slow through Yellow Stone, as you will see many amazing things.
