On your primary road bike, what is your stem length? Just curious where the distribution falls.

110mm

I would guess most will have a 110mm or 120mm.

Me too...but I thought it might be interesting...certainly moreso than pcad's new poser jersey :rolleyes:

80 for me which makes me believe my bike doesn't fit me. Then again, it was an on-sale bike lol

120. My bike is a bit weird. 58cm seat tube 58 cm top tube and 120 - 7 stem. Most 58's have a 57 cm top tube.

That has a lot to do with whether it is measured C-C or C-T (actual or virtual).

I voted 110 because that's about what it is despite being marked as 100. Crazy Italians.

Just what I expected, typical/normal is "90 to 110".

stem length = penis length.

Not just the Italians. I have a Ritchey stem that's marked as 100 but it's really 105.

Now I'm tempted to go and measure my Ritchey stem.

Not really... nobody is saying that they are better for having a particular sizes stem. It is a functional measurement of bike fit, and this poll was to see the distribution, which can be interesting, although fairly useless information (unless you make stems and want to know how many to produce of each size :p)

So do some people's drops increase when female riders are around?

+1 The only reason I have a 160 is that my frame is only a 58 and Its too small without it. I wish I could have the length of the stem and not have it be up so high cause it messes up that drop height, Its like spacers, only they can't be removed.

100mm. I have a weird build, and no bike (short of a custom) fits me very well.
