Buy it. Read it. Convince anyone who cares about, but doesn't understand, you to read it.

I think I've finally found a purpose for my 10 dollar gift certificate for Amazon.

I found myself smiling, laughing, or saying "**** that's so true" on almost every page.

My wife is reading it now, and it has brought her to a level of understanding (maybe not appreciation) of our lifestyle that I could never impart as well as EventServices has managed to do so through his words.

Bought it last month and finished it the next day. Needless to say, I enjoyed it.

The writer is a frequent poster on these forums. Expect to see plenty of us "shill" it. :D

disclaimer - I bought the book, but have not yet read it.

"The sport is expensive, dangerous, time-consuming, mentally draining, emotionally exhausting, and physically demanding, and it permeates every aspect of a Roadie's life (or lack thereof) off the bike. And it's awesome."

So true. I just ordered a copy.

I have shilled this book on here, on my site, and with a amazon review. I feel that strongly.

Buying the book is like supporting your LBS but better. Support the good people that do a good job.
