BWW rim tape

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

When I have bought wheels, the rim tape it came with tended to look really cheap. I usually replace it with Velox green.

toss the tape. The problem with the tape for my wheels is that it is too skinny. It fits fine to start, but the air pressure pushes the tape into the spoke holes and if the tape isn't aligned just right it will slide down and expose your tube to the edges of the spoke holes.

No, I think you screw in the plugs; you roll the tape. If you screw it, it doesn't lay flat.
