Road Cycling ďIt is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.Ē -- Ernest Hemingway

I wish my area looked close to that. I would love to ride in places like those in the photos. Gorgeous scenery and nice roads. Here it's nothing but crappy roads and no good scenery

Nice ride today, this was taken with my phone, it was on Central College near Columbus's Hoover Dam, my favourite little stretch of my longer route commute. It goes long enough where you can get in the 40s. The bridge at the end of it was apparently out, so I had to take a detour, but before I turned around, grabbed this.

Here we go.. rode closer to my house today and went down to Newport and rode on some of the more scenic roads in southern RI. Tons of huge oceanside mansions too.
