Road Cycling It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle. -- Ernest Hemingway

I'll be riding this road next week. Canyonlands National Park, Moab. It's time for the Moab Skinny Tire Festival

Those are from Muskoka or, as it is known `cottage country`here in Ontario....about 3 hrs from Burlington. These roads are spectacular. I wish I could ride them more often. I believe the lake is Lake Rousseau.

Here is my entry. One foggy morning on Southern California's GMR. Kind of spooky if you ask me.

Quite road in Napa County, CA. On this day, I rode for almost an hour before I saw the first car.

shot a couple pics with my phone when out riding this afternoon.

I wish the hill showed up better in the second one. I use it often for training.

A few shots from where I do my riding -- Sonoma County in Northern California. I'm sorry these images aren't larger. I can't seem to post any larger than these. Is there a secret handshake or something?

This is the road down from where I live
