How much is this worth?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

lol, you sir need to do better in school........I was going to school that cost $28K a year and I lowered that down to $9K. Now I transferred local, I am going to graduate college with no debt. OOOOHHH YYYEEEAHHH.

I would buy it for $1,100-1,250. Upgrade brakes, wheelset, and then sell the Shimano 105 components for SRAM....

Go do an ebay evaluation: look for successfully completed auctions for the bike you're looking at. Sems to be a reasonable estimation for worth.

OP: $35K college money from Mom and you have the b@lls to ask her for bike money? Get a part-time job at Walmart so you can get an employee discount on one of those bikes.

Meh, they could be loaded. Who cares; it's their money.

I'd say up to $1,100. I paid $900 for a nearly new tarmac elite.

Did I ever say that? NO. I have 2/3 of the asking price saved up for this purpose, but need the rest to be taken out of the bank until my birthday in late Aug. when I can put it back. I'd wait til then to buy a bike, but I'd be back in school and wouldn't have time to ride it.
