Living on an Island has it's perks
Little recovery ride today and decided to stop and take a pic of the bike and a little view.
Living in the Northwest when the weather is nice.............. is pretty special.

I grew up on an island in the northwest too, but it was Mercer Island. Ever ride around the circumference of Mercer Island via East Mercer Way, West Mercer Way, and North Mercer Way?
I've ridden across the Deception Pass bridge many times. The last was two summers ago. It's beautiful. One of the first tours I ever took was from Seattle to Bellingham via Whidbey. First night at South Whidbey S. P., second at Deception Pass S. P. and the third day was a cakewalk into B'ham. I think that was the tour that really got me hooked on cycle touring. Beautiful!
Thanks for sharing the picture. Here's one from the beach.

I wasn't on that particular island- but my "noodle around for a few minutes" ride yesterday turned into a multi-hour tour of a bunch of other scenic spots here in the Seattle area.
