Is this bike worth $25?

Who needs "plastic" when you can have cardboard? :)

Must be that new Carton Fiber bike.

dmb2786 06-06-09 11:54 AM

paste_me 06-06-09 12:05 PM

I don't understand. With the exception of the Fisher I find all of those to be eyesores.

watch out for brake temp on the downhill...wwhhhooooofffff!

knobster 06-06-09 01:20 PM

Don't think fenders would help that bike if it was ridden in the rain....

daven1986 06-06-09 01:22 PM

it is waterproof though :)

I like it, and would get one just for riding around town.

It would make an excellent beater for the city. And it's recyclable. :)

No cranks, no brakes, and no air in the rear tire. Wait a minute, I think I've got a bike just like that. Humm . . .

How about NO PIVOT POINT FOR THE FORK?

East Hill 06-06-09 04:37 PM

I think the saddle could stand to lose a few grams, but it's a fun concept.

Come on now, steering is highly overrated.

I would love to ride that thing and would pay $26 for it!

Um, I can clearly see one. It is like a big hinge front of the red sticker on the toptube.

Yeah, it'll take you straight there ;)

HarryStoddard 06-06-09 06:32 PM

That saddle looks brutal.

Carton fiber! That's good.

scotch 06-06-09 08:41 PM

no way. i'd put that $25 towards this.

Randochap 06-06-09 08:47 PM

Needs a paint job ... or maybe crayon or magic marker would be appropriate.

urbanknight 06-06-09 08:48 PM

Paint the word "Cervelo" on it and it's worth $2500

No it's not. Click on the link and check out the other pictures. That's a piece of angle, not a piano hinge.

168# weight limit.. wont find much of a market for it here in America.
