Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

In 2005 I posted in this thread that Eggbeaters were amazing. I would like to follow up that I now ride Time ATAC Aliums and they are an equally awesome improvement over the Eggbeaters as the Eggbeaters were over my old Shimano spuds.

Drivewear photochromic polarized lenses, prescription -- installed in my Rudy Project Ekynox SX sunglass frames. Lab work done by ReplaceALens in Colorado for minimal dollars.

Drivewear lenses being the big new innovation -- awesome for cycling, from sun-up to sundown, year round. Haven't noticed anybody else in cycling mention them, but all the opticians I know think they're the poop, and they are correct.
