Just based on the names of the companies and not on the quality of the bikes:
Ridley-- No, I don't want to ride a bike named after Ridley Scott.
Gunnar-- No, I don't want to ride a bike named after Richard Schwinn's Labrador retriever.
Primus Mootry-- No, I don't want to ride a bike named after some random person that the founder of the company heard being interviewed on TV.

I think you can make a case for Litespeed being at the bottom, in the ABG, post Lynski family era, based upon their poor customer service, and response to warranty claims.
Note the question posed is perception of the Company, not the perception of their product, which is not necessarily the same.
