Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

That's a bummer, I guess mine doesn't count since it has 105. Pity.

That really isn't the point of a CAAD9. The people that are buying this frame are not the people that are spending lots of money on upgrades.

I would have used regular silver cranks, but the cheapest option for 165mm happened to be the black ones. silver 105 was $50 more

I've seen your bike before, and it looks good.

I want to see some interesting Caad9 set ups. Not hating on 105, but I know what a stock Caad9 looks like.

There's a possibility a black CAAD9 will be popping up on bike forums with SRAM Red, BB30 and an Easton EC90 fork. However, I can neither confirm nor deny this statement.

?? The BB30 model hasn't come out yet... The bike you described sounds incredibly nice though.

I'm thinking of getting a Caad9 myself. See, if I wait for the 2010 model, I get a BB30. But its also made overseas. If I get this years model, no BB30, but I get the frame the last year its made in the US.
