There is a fine line between clever and stupid
and I think I crossed it today. I'd been wanting to get over to Mt Diablo to do some repeats. It was supposed to be hot today, but I figured that I'd leave early and a little heat training wouldn't be a bad thing. The first two times up were just fine, but the last trip up was a little extreme: my Polar recorded a max of 109 degrees. I finished but was pretty slow. When I got to the top I had to sit in the shade and pant like a dog for about 10 minutes. Even descending was miserable.
