so $500 midrange wheelsets...

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

alright i hate to continue posting about the same thing but now i'm trying to compare the Easton ea90 with the ROL race sl. The ROL seems to get outstanding reviews, but im looking to see what some of you all know about these wheelsets.
Thanks!

PS: I posted on the SLR thread you started on the for sale forum. I don't know where that nick came from. Sorry if it happened on my end.

I've had my Race SLs for @4 months and love them. They do everything well and really have no shortcomings. Stiff, light-ish (mine weigh 1540 observed) and rock solid under my 180 pounds. ROL also handbuilds these wheels HERE.
The hoops are Kinlin Nio30, spokes are DT Aerolite and the hubs are ROL housebrand, but they are every bit as nice as anything out there. They are dead ass smooth!

For the $, they are pretty hard to beat. A couple of my teammates are on them and love them as well!

I had a pair of the SL 28s, they were flexy as hell. Those were '07s though, so I can't vouch for current models.

I plan on getting DT Swiss 1.1 rims, laced to Campy Record hubs from Excel sports. Way nice for around $500.
