Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Enervit G Sport drink - opinions?

I'm curious about Enervit G Sports drink and other Enervit products. I really like Cytomax, but have an opportunity to get a good deal on Enervit products. Enervit G Sport does not seem to have a lactic acid buffer nor does it have the Cyctomax "herbal lift that helps decrease perceived effort". Opinions???

Have you tried the Enveritene tablets? They look like the Nuun tablets, just a different brand.

b - How much are the enervitene's in your world. Here, they're about $5 a pop. I can sometimes find them for $3.50 or so. Still a little steep.

they're not cheap. i bought some at half price because they were past their sell by date.

anyway, i only use them for special rides, so 2-3 times a year.

I see the Enervitene advertises an energy boost without caffeine. Botto, you seem to think they're worth the cash for significant rides? Any particular reason?

I've used just about everything in their range and have found it to be the some of the best stuff out there. Their recovery drink has the best effect on me (and I say me cause all this stuff seems to work differently for different people) than any other stuff I've used. The down side is the cost...it's prohivitally expensive..so I use Recoverite by HAMMER which works good but not as well as the Enervitene.
