Pcad Dura Ace 7900 Wrap Up

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Why go from good to worse when you can go better with Campy?
SRAM is junk. If it wasnt American no one would buy that junk.

I havent ridden it, so I guess its not a fair statement.

It works fine now.

But you'll never actually show up. You threaten, threaten, threaten, then it's 'sorry we had tickets to a Jets pre-season game'.

Jealous of what? It's fine if you don't show up. I don't even care if you're dating gsteinb. I was just making note of your highly predictable ex-patriate flakiness.

The company is American, but all the product labels say "Made in Taiwan"

There will be so many SRAM converts due to this year's TdF but make no mistake,

Di2 is the best group out there.

I must say that Di2 is the shiznit. Pricey shiznit, but the shiznit nonetheless. PBK is selling the brifters, derailleurs, batt pack/charger for <$1800 now, so it's getting a little closer to reality. But not @ the LBS. And God help you if that $1800 PBK Gray Mkt Di2 breaks. Good luck getting those aholes @ Shimano to help you. The local rep's first remark would be 'you bought that how from where??'

Make no mistake, Shimano gear is fine, but the company does SUCK.

Wow.
You know when you leave something for a while.. and you return, and nothing has changed.... and there's some weird comfort in that?

Pcad, I've missed you
