News To Shock The Cycling World

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Well, he is a road cyclist and this is a road cycling discussion forum. He posted a interesting comment about cycling to provoke discussion. Posting here didn't seem too outrageous.

Regardless, I didn't see that it was previously posted so for that I apologize.

Fail... He is a road bicycle racer as well as a professional cyclist and there is a sticky at the top of this forum telling you to please read before starting another Tour de France thread...

Well, not really.

Frankly I think Wiggins is a bit of a jerk for posting something like that. He should post over here, he'd fit right in.

Touche

Sometimes I fail to think before I post new threads. I'll make more of a conscious effort with future posts.

Dude. What the F is wrong with you?

Failing to think before posting new threads isn't anything you have to correct on BF. Don't be silly.

Steve: If you want I can move it to Pro Cycling. I think it's better there. Le me know.

No, don't do that. Just go with your unconscious instincts. Take the flames. We enjoy that. And never apologize. There's no apologies on BF. There's only facepalm.

Although I will say that I am stoked that in my lame thread-

1- I was corrected by umd
2- There was a sarcastic/amusing comment from pcad
3- A face palm from botto.

The BF trifecta!

Pcad didn't post for a while, very odd indeed...
