How can I tell if I'm looking at a feminine bike?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

How can I tell if I'm looking at a feminine bike?

Going to look at a Specialized Sirrus tomorrow that, looking at the picture, is kinda pink/purplish. Feminine colors. I don't think that feminine colors always designates a feminine bike, but how do I tell?

Thanks

its a unisex bike. it doesn't have drop handlebars though so you're going to take a lot heat in the next few posts...

There is a Women's version of the Sirrius. It is discernable by the geometry, sizing and saddle. Look at their website.

I tried looking at their website, but it looks dedicated to MTB these days. Here is the picture.

Back when that bike was made I don't think they had women specific bikes. Besides, if you like it, who cares if it's feminine looking?

Look at the stem. This bike, posted earlier this week, is obviously a male bike.

Girl bikes will only allow you to ride them after flowers, an expensive dinner, and a promise that you aren't riding any other bikes.

Correct. Furthermore, colors like pink, purple, and anything flourescent were popular on bikes.
