Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I got Storcked

Well I've been itching for an upgrade to my aluminum framed Ciocc for a while and have been looking at carbon framed bikes for a bit. After emailing Storck about their demo bikes for sale (and getting responsive and very helpful emails in return I might add) I decided to go to the LBS that carried Storcks. Well the demos available were 57cm top tubes. The LBS had some 55cms on the floor. I test road a Scenario 1.1 and then a Pinarello FP3 back to back. I was immediately sold on the Storck.

I now have a Scenario 1.1 sitting in my garage. The LBS allowed me to swap out the Ksyrium Equippe wheels for some Elites (I paid the diff of course.) and after the speedplays, bottle cages, and wheels were all installed / swapped the bike came in a 16lbs .9oz. Not too bad for a guy coming off a 19lb aluminum bike and steel before that.

I just finished mounting an Edge 705 and am going to take it on a shake down tomorrow AM. Can't wait!!!

Pics tomorrow I hope.

He shoots bees from his mouth when he barks.

Maybe now would be a good time to post some pics of my class III firearm and gun collection.

Yep. The Vinings location. I was just checking frame sizes, but after a test ride I was smitten.
