Great pics, I'm so jealous. I want to go. How was the climb? 12 miles at 7-8%, right, its gotta hurt.

I didn't even bother looking at my time. It was around 1:45 maybe, but it wasn't even about that. It was way harder than the Tourmalet, at least to me. The average may be 7-8% but there are longish sections of more than 10% that just hurt.
I would like to go back and do it a little more seriously, but Friday was nuts with all the cars and fans and other riders.

Thanks for the pics as always, looks like a great time riding! Just the description reminds me of climbs where I look ahead and all you see is the road going up and up while my legs just want to stop.
