Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Shameless

Still stoked.

Oddly enough 3 days after I ditch the almost matching bar tape.

It's the "Yellow Flash", they're like ummm Rock Racing green, I planned on matching the bar tape with them but it's probably for the best... I just got home and looked at the old tape I took of and it didn't match.

All black and silver System Six with neon green slime tires.

I had two pairs of black, needed a change. The tires are so confidence inspiring I'll deal with the gashing issues.

I gotta say when I first started using these I didn't notice the hugest difference, but I started riding 99% of the time outside of races on Gators and I gotta say there really is a difference. I still don't notice the whole rolling resistance though.

For me that was the big selling point. I wanted to see if they rolled as good as the old super comps. To me they roll as good but corner much better.

I usually buy them for $42 at Pro Bike Kit, but didn't feel like waiting so I paid $47 at my LBS with my discount.
