Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

need some pump advice

hey all, this is my first year biking, i got a pretty decent old caad 2 from a friend, he just used it every once in a while on his trainer. I've gotten a helmet, shoes, jerseys/bibs, computer and all that but I still need a good floor pump. I made the mistake of just buying one at a dicks store...didnt even get above 100psi. any recommendations for a cheap, sturdy, high pressure-able pump. Thanks in advance

Dont know the name of mine but its the only one at Wal Mart with a meter on it. About $18 and it gets way above 100psi, had it for years. Works great!

they are comparable in price to some of the Joe Blow pumps ($60 range, there are cheaper Joe Blows) but I'd rather have something I can fix instead of having to replace entirely if something wears out
