Polar IrDa adapter

Hi everyone.
Is that the polar watch can only use the IrDa adapter produced by Polar to communicate with PC? The price of the adapter is quite expensive.:twitchy:

No, I bought an el cheapo off ebay and it works fine with my CS400.

Thanks for the info gabdy, I need one too and you've saved me about $100 by not having to buy the Polar one! Their online ordering sucks though, you have to print the order form out and fill in the CC details and fax/email it back to them.
