fitting two water bottle cages on small frame
hey,
hey I'm new here just bought a kestrel talon sl in a size 52 frame, the problem I have is fitting two regular water bottle cages and water bottles on the frame is a very tight fit. Are there any water bottle cages designed for small frames? Andrew |
If you use the normal metal cages, they're easier to enter from the side. There are also side entry specific cages.
I've got a size 56, and with my frame pump on, I have trouble getting a bottle in the seat tube mounted cage. I can force a normal 24 oz in there, but I can't get a 24 oz Polar bottle in there. |

I have a 51cm R3SL and use Zipp cages - no problems even with 750ml Tacx bottles.

What I have seen for smaller frames is one water bottle in the frame, and then an under-the-seat water bottle cage that can hold two bottles. Then they just cycle the bottles from the seat to the frame as needed.

How about a double stacked cage?
