Looks a little big, not too bad though. As long as it doesn't flap around at speed then yer good. BTW, what's with the glove??

TJKnight 08-11-09 03:12 PM

Is it comfortable?

It may be too big. However, if you go a size smaller, it might ride up in the front, but would probably be tighter across your chest and around your neck.

It looks rather loose for a "race fit", but it would be normal for a "club fit". You just need to decide if you like it loose and flapping (annoying to me) or tight and in place (it seems like most roadies like this).

Lol

Unbelieveble.

ericm979 08-11-09 03:15 PM

Way too big.

Basically what the others have said. It looks good at the shoulders but loose on the chest and mid-section. I tend to like a jersey that is just loose enough to ripple a bit but that look just a tad too loose. Maybe try one size smaller???

Remember that jerseys are supposed to fit properly when you are actually riding the bike. The shoulders may feel too tight when you are off the bike.

Doesn't look too large, and with it's full-length zip, it looks comfortable. I have a mix of race and club cut jerseys and like them all. Return yours for a smaller size and decide what you like best.

I just came from a quick ride with this jersey I felt a tad bit of flapping around the chest area this shouldnt be normal right? I will return it and go a size smaller thanks for the advice guys! :)

Why would they want a used jersey back?

If you can feel it flapping, then it is probably too big. Different brands/models will fit differently. It is possible that no jersey from one particular brand will fit you well. Try on different brands as well.

Try hitting the gym and grow into it. ;)

It looks more like a cycling jacket in the front.

Too big for a serious ride.

sorry for the slight 'bump' but instead of adding another NEW post, here goes:

i just copied this sizing chart from VELOWEAR and don't want the same problem as above. i know brand sizing varies, but i do want a racing fit...i'm 5'8" (+), 153#, 38"+ chest...i still think the SMALL will be the one to get...would that be just right or way too tight?

small 29-31 waist, 120-145 weight, 5'4" to 5'8", 35-37 chest
medium 32-34 waist, 145-170, 5'7" to 5'11", 38-40 chest

:rolleyes:here's the whole link (the chart wouldn't paste...): http://www.velowear.com/products/1010359GRNMED.aspx
(p.s. scroll down to sizing....the link didn't go immediately to it)

((p.s.s. better, yet, now that i've explored the site, here's the whole shebang of sizing)):innocent:
