Favorite, must-have accessory?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Favorite, must-have accessory?

Aside from essentials, like pump/helmet/CO2/tube/water, what is your must-have accessory you can't leave home without?

For me, it's gotta be the headsweats skullcap I got a few months ago (and just washed last week, yuck). The head band, cycling cap etc never soaked up the sweat, but the headsweats works pretty damn good.

Without it, sweat drips into my glasses, eyes, mouth and onto my top tube, distracting me while riding, to the point where I'll stop and wipe my forehead, like this guy.

If I forget my gloves or ass butter, I'll make it through, but I will turn around and go home to pick up my headsweats if I forgot it.

At least go with a true S&W or BHP, not a Hungarian hybrid of questionable quality....

I have run thousands of rounds through my GKK-45 and after polishing the ramp, have found it to be utterly reliable. Google some reviews, you will find many who agree that, while it's not a Browning etc., for the money, it's a sound buy. Plus, it makes ANY attacking dog a lot less of a worry.

You can forget about sore knees. On the days I go riding ....I pop a couple as per instructions and my knees feel great after some hard rides.

Sunglasses. I can barely see without them due to the fact that my eyes are a bit sensitive to sunlight.
Since it is almost always sunny here...
