Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

so it's a foldable and totally capable triathlon machine? Other than he didn't replace the handlebars, I don't understand why you think this is an abomination? Looks quite the right ride for someone who travels to tris....

I've ridden with people on Bike Fridays, and they're not a joke. As a matter of fact, they are great if you travel a lot and want to take your bike everywhere you go.

+1 even if you don't travel a lot. Small wheeled bikes are plenty fast:

How come he only put 1500 on 'her' (who gives their bikes names...) in two years? That's what most of us would do in a good month...

Sure, maybe it doesn't matter about the look, but you really can't expect to score that hot chick in your paceline with that thing, can you?

I've ridden one and SERIOUSLY considered building one. They are a lot of fun and offer quite a different experience while still retaining the performance level of a good road bike.

Who joins a paceline looking to score with chicks?
