Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yesterday was a great ride

Its been like 12 years since I worked in a shop, but somehow managed to get the 105 on the bike shifting perfectly....quick... crisp... I actually surprised myself! didnt even need fine tuning during the ride.

Then, 20 miles in to the ride, got a little inspiration from an Audi R8 screaming by on a back road.

Sounds Good. Yesterday was a perfect day to ride here in the mid atlantic....Humidity was low and the temp was just right for a late afternoon ride.

It's a great feeling when your ride is properly tuned and the shifts are crisp.
