Where are the threads that interest me?
 

What is it that draws you to a particular thread.

Some poster are ubiquitous while others only do walk on bits. What is it that draws you into a thread and furthermore, what keeps you coming back for more?

I like the threads that have controversial topics. I get a bowl of pop corn, a beer, relax and watch the flames fly.

useful info about products, interesting stories about epic rides, places visited and most of all .... train wrecks!

Usually title or author. Someties the combination.

Hotbutton product discussions.

Flame fests for entertainment - based on title.

I pass on threads that are out to 4+ pages before I have had a chance to start reading it. I just don't have the time anymore.

I cannot stop myself from clicking on any thread started by that Botto guy...

should have allowed multiple selections.

Usually thread title but a lot of times ill see an author and click it since some people here actually make useful informative posts.

You poll has too many choices.

I doubt if even half of the BF brain-trust can read a poll with more than three choices, let alone understand most of the words in said poll...

I'm a sucker for any thread that gets into physics and engineering. :crash:

I find it interesting that you're already thinking about depends.

i find it unsurprising that so many members of BF have such a limited vocabulary.

The topic mainly since some have the potential to be informative and others entertaining.

But fascinating that some can say so much by saying so little.

When I first started here I was just into getting the bike and getting fit right...so most of what I read was related to that...figured it was the place to start. Now that I have the bike, feel like I have the fit pretty much nailed down I tend to look at the threads that are performance/training/technique related.

I guess what I zero in on is more related to my need at the moment than anything else.

One exception is any thread started by pcad. They get read regardless of subject.

I was actually starting to think the same thing...
