Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

So 3K+ Euros for basically, a CF version of this...

Hmm...

It would be easier just spending a few hundred on a crappy fixed gear or single speed...

Especially since one would run out of a charge after 6 miles...

P.S. This is not a road bike--by definition--although you sit on it. It's more like a glamorized toilet.

Interesting idea but not at such a high cost. The reality is plenty of people want to commute to work without having to deal with mass transit or driving but don't because they're not keen on breaking a sweat so this might be an answer for some, but weather will still be a problem.

Maybe Bike Friday can come up with a less expensive version!
"Glamorized Toilet" Love it!!!!

And according to the "Safety" section, it's safer than a bicycle. Probably because it won't go any further than 6 miles!

Well, if you treated it like a Flintstones bicycle, you could probably extend your mileage by a few yards
