Which mini pump do you prefer?
They are all about the same price. Having in mind weight, size, quality, durability, and easiness to pump a desired psi, please choose your selection (and yes, there are four Topeak because they have an insane amount of options!).

I picked Blackburn AirStik SL because that's what I have and I like it, but I'd probably go with a Lezyne next. Honestly it sounds like they are the best right now.

I just bought a Lezyne Micro Floor Drive HP for the touring bike,
and a Lezyne Road Drive M PV for the road bike.
Once you've handled a Lezyne, the others look like cheap toys.

I have the micro carbon...for the most part, they all work, they all don't pump much air per stroke, but it will get you home. most of the time, I ride with others with a full size frame pump so why carry a full size pump? I carry a full size frame pump on my commuter and cross bike. but on my sloping toptube lightweight climbing bike, less is more.

i have this crank bros. model. it has a high pressure/ high volume switch, use volume first, then pressure to reach 120 without toooo much effort. i carry this when i commute, on the road bike i usually just carry co2 unless i know i will be very far from help.

I haven't used a pump on the road for years but I don't get very many flats so I'm probably not the best person to ask. I even stopped carrying a pump on my tandem because it seemed redundant. I still carry an HPX on one of my bikes. It's been so long since I've used it that I should probably check to make sure that it still works.

I am very interested in this as I feel like I have been pushing my luck lately without a mini pump. Here are pictures (hopefully they are all of the right model). I would think something with a locking head would be much better and even better would be something with a short hose so you don't rip the valve but I have not used any of these mini pumps.

mini:
1. Something that is distinctively smaller than other members of its type or class.
2. A miniskirt.
Since there is a smaller option available I am guessing that is why it is left off.

Just picked up a Lezyne Pressure Drive S pump this last weekend. Trying it out in the confines of my garage it seems pretty good. Strong construction, simple/compact design and no more bent valves thanks to the built in hose.

Thanks! That was great help.
By the way, using Amazon as a reference, all of them are around $17-$21, except the Lezyne & the Morhp at $24-$25 (who seem to be the finalists). Blackburn, another possible finalist, is $20-$24 depending on color, and Quicker Pro —that some mention— was left out because I found it around $33.

I voted for the Blackburn Airstick cause that is my backup. I now use a co2 hand cracker and pump. It works WAY better and WAY faster than the pumpers. I don't think I have ever managed to get over 45psi with my blackburn even though it says 160 max i think.

I have a Lezyne Pressure Drive -M; just slightly larger than the "S"... Don't mess around with anything else: The Lezynes are the best-made pumps on the market right now. I' have a bunch of Blackburns, Topeaks, Zefals, Silcas, etc... They aren't bad, but you asked about the BEST...

My LBS had a Barbieri Pompita Carbon for 14 Euros.
55g and no complaints after a dozen or so roadside situations.
Not the sort of thing I'd use at home, though.

My pump de jour is a combo pump and CO2 inflator from Genuine Innovations, called SecondWind:

I have the Quicker Pro and it works really well. It comes with a rubber strap that allows you to mount it to your frame. I personally don't like having it in my jersey pockets; it isn't a big deal or heavy or anything, I just like having my pockets nearly empty.
It fits between the back of the seat tube and the tire on my Cannondale. It doesn't fit there on my LOOK so goes on the side of the ST and doesn't rub my leg.
I'm thinking about trying out a new one though, maybe to avoid having to switch between bikes. The Lezyne's look good and get good reviews, but not positive I want to mount under a bottle cage. The Blackburn Airstik SL...hmm, bad reviews from some, but good reviews from others. The upside is it is tiny and light. Downside is some poor reviews. But, I do carry C02 & a pump (and a phone) so maybe not that big of a deal.
I like these threads! Choosing the small & relatively cheap things (saddle bags, pumps, tail lights, etc.) can sometimes be harder than picking out a new frameset.
^^ Terry, I'm guessing if you are posting it...you approve of it and like it? That sounds like a pretty good option. I'm using one of their CO2 heads currently. Do you frame mount it under cage or carry in a pocket?
