Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

CTS-V - 556hp... cheesy? Maybe.

Of course, you'll need this to go with the jersey:

If I went to the dealership I would ask them so do you want to just sign my card as I have no intention of buying a car. That way you could spend your time with someone you actually have a hope of selling a car to.
Trouble is the sleazy sales manager would probably insist the sales guy takes me on the test drive and waste his time anyway. I hate care dealerships... Buying a car off a lot has to be one of the all time worst experiences.

I thought of doing this to help speed these clowns off the perverbial cliff.

Prolly cost 'em $100 to print the jersey + salesman's time + the 1/2 gal of gas and 1/4" of tire rubber I'll burn through. Every little bit helps them go under right?

I just couldn't EVER make myself wear it though. And as long as they gots the government pumping MY money into them I figger whats the point?

american car dealerships are drowning right now, gm especially.

last month i was in the market for a new car for the wife - the honda, subaru, bmw and vw dealerships were so busy i had to wait in line to test drive a car. i heard crickets in the jeep dealership we walked into and was swarmed by salesmen.

i'm going to go test drive a caddy, why not...

I am thinking a CTS-V might look a little funny with some big thule bars on the roof, a wind fairing, and a couple fork mount trays.

If this is the market they are after, perhaps they should look into something along the lines of the "Trek Edition" thing VW used to do.

I'm guessing Cadillac thinks that the road biker demographic tends to have a lot of high income people who like nice things. So maybe they can get the young professional who would be considering a Mercedes, Audi or BMW to try out this sporty Cadillac.

I'm thinking I'll take one for a spin (I've never test driven a new car); hopefully, I can get one with a stick.

sell motorcycles, you get sick or hit by a car. they slap a mechanic in a nice shirt and make him was his hands.

It's a joke - you know, the "Cadillac health plans" that are going to be taxed to finance a health care overhaul...
