Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Justice Served!

A few years ago I was hit by the Village Administrator of a local town here in the Mid-Ohio area. The cop took a week to produce a bogus police report, and basically said no one was at fault, when clearly the admin turned right on red. Didn't look and t boned me directly in front of him. Obviously this was because of who it was that hit me. Anyone else would of gotten a sobriety test, and what not. They didn't even hold him, they just let him go. By the time I was done seeing an EMT he was gone! Needless to say his insurance settled with me anyway, clearly they were at fault. Well today that officer was arrested, I guess it all comes back around. It's a pretty funny predicament he got himself into as well. Enjoy:

It was a different police dept. I thought the same thing though, don't cops have some sort of code about this type of thing?

I wanted to go to the media about the corruption when it happened, but my lawyer thought it wasn't a good idea. Actually he directed me not to do that. The whole department is corrupt. The officer mishandled the case, then the referred it to their "law director" to help draft the bogus report. I had to go to Cleveland to get a lawyer because nobody local would represent me against the administrator. I tried 6 local lawyers.

so, I guess the question will be... do you want to be the whistle blower?
totally up to you, no one will hold it against you if you don't.

Can't you bring this up again and kick him while he's down? I'm no lawyer, but I've seen it on TV.
