Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Exactly.....

Never rotate your tires, always keep the good tire up front.

Those are the only tube I use and have yet to have a problem.

If you are not getting pinch flats look into some better tires.

Three flats in how many miles? I had 3 flats in 15 miles the other day. All the cinders they put out after and ice storm tore up the tires.

Both Specialized and Slime make a "anti-flat" road tube that is reputed to self seal up to a point. You will pay a weight penalty for using these tubes however.

I'm a big fan of tire liners.

Sure they add weight and probably rolling resistance, but they are bulletproof. I would take them out prior to a race though.
