Is there a cycling haircut?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

If I'm taking hair off with a #3, I feel shaggy.

The girlfriend likes hair she can play with; I like hair I can ride in. It's an eternal battle.

#1 or 2, for that cool feeling on hot days, and more importantly....to show off the big scars from bad accidents.

I've had everything from shoulder length to bare skin. Currently just kinda short.

My one complaint with long hair is helmet-strap tangle.

My hair is thus:

Of an evening, the ladies love it and the Giro helmet looks after it on the centuries!
