Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'm taking outdoor family portraits and they are forecasting rain and snow with a high temp of 40 degrees. Wish me luck. Can't wait for the mom's with expensive hair styles blowing in the 20 mph wind and the freezing cranky kids in their matching new clothes that they can't get wet.

Pfft, 95% of BFers don't ride in the rain anyway, what's it matter to them?

I don't mind riding in a little wet, but the weather for my area (metro Philly) looks like a total washout.

I have no problems riding the rain when its warm like 70F. Rain and 40F is no fun however.

yesterday i rode in the rain and it was 40 something. It felt more like 20. I couldn't feel my feet at all or my fingers. I got home and had to relax for 1 hour until i felt my feet were normal.
