New Lance bio
 
Has anyone read Wilconson's new bio on LA? Does it break any new ground, or is it 400 pages of same old, same old?

Actually, it's definitely worth it. I was surprised, given that they're friends at some of the info he included. he pulls (almost) no punches. One interesting section was where he talked about how Eddy Merckx was not only the one who introduced Michele Ferrari to Lance but that he'd been pushing Ferrari pretty hard for quite a while to train Lance. It's was on Merckx' insistence that they began working together. Wow.

Why is this "pulling no punches" it is and has been well known that Lance trained under Ferarri and that Merckx had instigated that relationship.
