Calling all BLUE bicycle owners

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What color is the logo & graphics?
My Masi's yellow logo made the choice easy for me:

It took a little looking around to find yellow cable housings, bottle cages, and bar-tape that weren't 80's day-glo yellow. (I've changed the bar tape since these photos and found an aged roll of Cinelli cork that was a little more mustardy.)

if i had a cannondale, or any other bike where the graphics are silver, id definitely go for silver tape because that looks great. But the graphics on my bike are black and white.

https://www.specialized.com/us/en/bc/...jsp?spid=21286 to get an idea

Ill probably end up going with white tape and maybe white tires but they just get so damn dirty.

Blue bike. Black saddle. Black tape. Blue/Black tires. Blue/black saddle bag. Mismatched clear and white/red water bottles.

That shade of blue looks great with the black tape. If that's the model & color, I'd say black tape, black and whitewall tires.

I'm partial to blue tires:

Looking at this saddle:

All blue bikes call for a different scheme IMO, I just try to highlight the brightest (and my favorite!) color on my frame.

I believe that's made by the rider himself. Perhaps he'll come back and tell us the story.

I have three blue bikes. My favorite scheme is blue/yellow bar tape. It's actually a golden yellow. It works well with a brown Brooks saddle.
Second is blue with blue tape and blue cables. Looks nice but understated.
Last is generic blue with black tape and cables.

I tried orange tape once - it was OK, but a bit loud. I also tried various reds: wine, blood, etc. I didn't like that too much

its strange but out of everything i see, i think the black tape and saddle are the way to go. white tape just looks strange to me on a blue bike. i think i may to white wall tires though, that could be pretty cool. yellow is cool but its so flashy to me and im having a hard time taking them seriously lol.

Black everything. Blue frame. Silver components.

I am enticed by blue tires, but compared to sleek black tires on a rim with black spokes....cannot compare.

Cream and/or brown seats and bar tape go great with blue. Also copper. Unless you have any black on the bike, then you should probably go with silver and navy.

Here's what my bike used to look like but I will tell you that I went to a blue bar tape that matches the paint and a White sadddle.

our little blizzard has kept me from picking my bike up so pics will have to wait. All black looks really fast to me but white is definitely more...elegant? i think i might be looking for an excuse to get white wall tires
