Calling all BLUE bicycle owners

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

An 07 Windsor Fens from that hated place. I think the Nashbar Fizik clone dresses it up nicely:-)

All blue bikes call for a different scheme IMO, I just try to highlight the brightest (and my favorite!) color on my frame.
My problem with Blue accessories on a Blue frame is that if you don't get the blue right- then it will look odd. Going to a contrasting colour like red- and any red will do.

I like a good mix of silver and black; and a little white to highlight since the frame stickers are white.

Sorry, no pics to hand, but I did 2 blue paint jobs on my bikes.

My Dawes road bike now has a navy blue frame and black fork. No lettering or stickers

An inexpensive Peugeot 10 speed was repainted with a silver/blue colour scheme that looked nice IMO. It had the bad manners to wait until after all this work was completed before breaking at the rear drive side dropout a couple of weeks after I finished it...

I've found that red accessories on a blue bike ruffles the feathers of some of the local characters:

Wow, this thread is old. Don't have to look at the dates to tell with all the blue details to compliment the true blue.

But let's put some new blue bikes on. I'll restart with my Lapierre Xelius "Layla"

2015 Fuji Roubaix 1.1. I have replace the saddle with a black Specialized Toupe, I dislike white bar tape and that is on the short list to be replaced. Non-drive side, sorry
