Calling all BLUE bicycle owners
bit of a strange request i suppose, but i just bought a blue bicycle off craigslist(steel specialized allez comp if anyones interested. pics to follow) and im having a hard time figuring out what to do as far as color scheme. white saddle white tape? what about tires? im a big fan of colored tires. but ive been having a bit of a hard time actually visualizing anything. i never imagined id own a blue bike(everything i have is red) but the deal was too good to pass up for a silly thing like the color of the frame.
so, anyone post some ideas? anyone with a blue bike post some pics?

This is how I have mine, I was thinking of red bar tape but bought blue instead and have never put it on, might not ever either.

Yellow accents for me also. It gets hard to match shades of blue for different components from different makers. It ends up looking hodge-podge.

One of the guys I ride with has a blue Allez. He has it setup with blue rims, blue tires, blue tape, blue saddle, blue everything. While I would personally want more contrast, I have to admit that it's easy to identify and it definitely catches the eye.

Match the saddle and bar tape. If it's a dark blue, I would say go with a white saddle/tape.
For tires either get black w/Blue, or see if there's a secondary color that's used a lot on the frame.

no offence, but some of these blue bikes need more yellow.

blue/yellow - loud and flashy
blue/green - flashy sporty
blue/red - fast sporty
blue/black - badass sporty
blue/white, blue/silver - stylish, elegant
